What were you doing before bug occurred: I was sailing to Thorin’s refuge, about to go on a dark sea trip
Steps to reproduce: *I drank a tier 5 mystery potion and it gave me warding 5, so i decided to drink an insanity 3 potion. I drank one, and when it ran out, i drank the second one on the exact second it said “Your insanity has worn off”. It then paused for a minute and then gave me the insanity effect, but it had no number on it and the icon didnt appear next to my health bar. I thought it was weird but just waited for it to run out before i went to the dark sea. When i went to the dark sea, the sailing theme kept playing and it never added the dark sea effects, such as my compass stopping or disappearing off the map.
(Couldnt get the video to upload, but in the video the compass is still moving, the leaderboard didnt vanish and there are no waves, but the deckhands are going crazy)
another thing i forgot to mention was that the boat is still rocking like it does in the dark sea. Im going to sail onward to see what happens if i go to higher insanity or if i find an island
Update: Ive been sailing for enough time to hit insanity 1 and nothing has happened, i havent seen any isalnds and nothing changed in the f9 logs, so im gonna go back to the bronze sea
it didnt even register i was at akursius keep, and is still playing the sailing theme. this bug is getting weirder and weirder. I am going to see if anything happens if i try to go to the dark sea again.
Update 3.5: Nothing happened when i went into the dark sea again, the f9 logs didnt even change. I amg going to the east border to see if anything changes with the fog wall being there.
update 4: THe fog wall didnt appear as it normally does on the east border, but other than that it is the same as all the other times i went into this bugged dark sea
Oh i literally just disconnected after taking the screenshot i guess thats it for me. The only thing i had left that i was planning to do was to reset so oh well
I think it may have shut down alot of the client sided effects somehow, but thats just my guess.
