If you’ve been to the dark sea, you know the hassle of exploring an island, preferrably big, and having to travel up and down a billion times, while constantly running out of stamina and patience… for like, 4 sealed chests, annoying doesnt mean difficult, so i propose the following

Revamped chest carry system:
currently, you can only carry 2 chests at once, while also being unable to use your dodge reflexes and climb, and given the treacherous nature of most islands, that can be very annoying, at times, it might even softlock you in places you cant climb out of, so i suggest a way to place sealed chests, or dark sealed chests, on your back, like a backpack, this would allow you to climb and dogde reflex whilst carrying up to 4 chests, exponentially decreasing your walk speed, run speed, attack speed and increasing your attack endlag(so you cant just grab every chest you see and run away from all danger). -
Alternative solution: add more ways to scale your way up a big island or scattered isles:
these could be like old decomissioned rails with minecarts on them that you can ride up until a certain distance, with enemies on your path or precarious tracks, if perhaps this would be too easy, you could just add some sort of puzzle or quick thinking changes whilst riding said cart.
there could also be bridges between scattered isles for better transversal and travel, or deformed geysers that could juggle you between isles, whilst dealing damage or landing you somewhere unpredictable.
Reason to add/change
Personally i dont think island exploration is that well thought out, considering how large they are and how many times you have to scale them over and over, which turns into a stepstones type of thing.
