Wait, I just had a very chilling thought.
A few of these NPCs were people who died in the Durza vs Theos fight explosion, and we see some of them slowly forgetting who they were when alive.
The chilling thing is that PK (AA MC), most likely would’ve been one of those people/ghosts for a long time as well, which also explains why when they were resurrected, they have no memory of their past despite being purely independent from Durza as a result of being a revival accident. Because there’s a good chance that they also became a ghost and slowly lost their identity.

now im kind of wonder how does people become a ghost after death?
i originally thought only powerful people become ghosts after dead, but it seems that anyone could now
maybe its the location of their death instead? a whole lot of magic for example
so basically
u die → soul come out → if has enough magic energy ( either from yourself or from the environment ) → u become ghost
Aren’t ghosts just people’s spirits? Shouldn’t everyone technically become a ghost? I think that’s how it’s supposed to work. And the reason why we don’t see everyone’s ghosts… there’s the Underworld
Though, I wonder why these aren’t able to go to the Underworld… is it cause of the messed up location of where they died? Okay, probs this one, cause almost all cases we see of ghosts were people in Dark Seas (magic pollution) or Chaos-related (Akursius Keep)

according to Tech apparently Theos is just chilling there and PK go visit him everynow and then
