Dark Sea lore thread

Morden’s name is just Murder in german, foreshadowing his Death Curse, Vetex comfirmed that

… of course, he doesnt have to tell us everything, so maybe theres another reason behind it

im surprised no one’s come up with the crackhead theory of King Arthur Cursebeard though it probably isnt that

The thought has crossed my mind, there is some mild evidence for it but it is just speculation unfortunately, other then vague quotes from ghosts, theres no other evidence.

Somebody has said that already

I thought nobody said it because it was obvious

im pretty sure i already said that, he is the most well known Arthur in the Arcane Universe after all and the closest thing that they had to a god after he killed Prometheus “Who will we pray to now? King Arthur?”

Is it a coincidence that the greenwish cult uses purple candles or are they the stormsalt ones from the dark sea

1051 was when durza & theos clashed at Oberon (the epicenter)

Just so you know, that name is the ancient Roman name for Colchester, a city in the UK. Not Camelot.

Where did he say that

dark sea cult?

I saw an NPC mention theos being their hero, so I have a theory that the Seven Seas became the dark sea after durza does some silly goober antics. Probably doesn’t hold water, but that’s why it’s just a theory

This is perhaps what happens according to da lore I thinks
