You can discover these Magma Islands scattered throughout the Dark Sea, but they usually don’t offer much in terms of resources—just Tartarus Tears. However, it would be a missed opportunity if you weren’t aware that you can break apart the small rock formations found across the islands to uncover hidden loot.
The ones located on Magma Islands tend to have a higher loot drop rate compared to those scattered across the Dark Seas. In fact, I even found an Exotic Gem within one of those rock formations.
These small rock formations on regular islands have a lower loot drop rate.
However, I’ve noticed that the ones found on Magma islands tend to be less likely to drop those.
Huh??? I don’t think I’ve ever found those on volcanos, just volcanic biome islands?
Uh, I’m pretty sure that’s an azurite. It gives resistance, a generally disregarded stat and doesn’t have a rare version to begin with, like armor piercing and regeneration, and same goes for their respective enchantment scrolls. So yeah, don’t consider that to be an actual exotic gem, since it gives a low amount of a single stat, and a bad one, too.
If you’re referring to my tartarus tear question, I’m asking because volcanic biome islands and actual volcanos are vastly different, and if tartarus tears can be found on volcanos, I want to know.
If you’re referring to my comment on your “exotic gems”, it’s not nitpicking, azurites, aventurines and fire opals don’t have any rights to be called exotics if they don’t have a rare variant.
Dude that’s not overly specific, volcanoes and magma islands are vastly different, magma islands can spawn liquid starlight pools, dark sea structures, caves, atlanteans etc., none of those spawn at volcanoes
