This is obviously a common one but vetex should both make islands more common (especially in later ranges as that makes more sense), and lower the distance from range to range (More specifically, lower how big long the first and second ones are, as the first one is especially boring aside from the occasional holy grail of a island)

in general it just needs to be tightened up. i get that it’s supposed to be an “expedition” but i spend so long just fuckin sailing in a straight line ffs. i do enjoy the vibes, and whether or not the loot is shit doesnt matter much to me
mabey a alternative to “buf spawn rates of islands” would be to make revealing potions more effective?
Making the dark sea and the main game Arcane Odyssey game separate.
This will help the performance a lot.
Vetex should make it so the abandoned boats could give a hp to your ship, since right now they are completely useless

yea but like out of the like 20 ive checked so far only 4 or so had dark sealed chests plus the normal chests are kinda useless
If your brig is over 100 speed it can outrun white eyes. Literally you can get over 130 speed so easily. Its meant to be a wasteland of magic and monsters and you’re complaining about it lol. Its not meant to be enjoyable
There are cargo crates that spawn around that you can use. Ghost ships will lead to them sometimes
If it isn’t meant to be enjoyable… THEN WHY IS IT IN A VIDEO GAME?
If it isn’t meant to be a enjoyable then that is a flaw in the game design and it should still be fixed smh

Definitely reduce damage dealt to your boats when off of them even more - fishing is a pain because your boat is getting beaten down while you’re doing it.
Also, the maximum altitude of some of the islands is completely ridiculous - Me and a few friends found one that took around 5 minutes to climb optimally (if you got water poisoning you got fucked) and there were a ton of dark sealeds up top… as you can imagine, we only took a few and dipped.
how exactly do we deal with water poisoning…

that could invalidate higher tiers of those potions for underwater structures
To Summarize:
- Tighten up ranges 0-2 for the dark sea, increase island and enemy spawnrate.
- Decrease giant white eyes spawn rate
- Increased loot yield from dark sea
- Lower the cost of repairing your brig by more than 50%. 500 galleons is still alot but better than 1.7k per expedition, I don’t even make that much when I return.
- Fix Performance issues (Lag yaaaaay)
- Reduce damage dealt to your boat when you’re away from it (gone fishing).
- (Maybe) Increase the effectiveness of clearsight in the darksea (Personally indifferent on this one, as higher tier clearsight potions exist)
Feel free to add to this list.
I love the concept of the dark sea and I think it will keep me entertained for a long time, just needs some adjustments…

stop poison rain starting when you’re in combat, i’ve died twice because poison rain will start while I’m at low HP. Remove the stupid burning and lightning effects when they hit your ship, they make enemeies impossible to see and don’t do anything, at least tone them down. and OMG please let the rain END. Everything else everyone else said too cuz those apply
oh also I think atlanteans ignore the protection of tempest and mountain wind, they’d hit me with blasts through them a ton of times.
