Death curse (Spoilers)

Is the death curse an external or elemental curse?
So we see Mordent Transform their arms into their curse during the fight against Julian which would make you think that the death curse is elemental however death wouldn’t really fall under the elemental category so I’m not sure.

It’s based on a magic so elemental

But is every magic elemental?

elemental

Yes

All magic based curses are elemental, which suggests something as overpowered as the shatter curse exists.

It’s not implausible to turn into a ball of pure death so yeah

Oh those visuals was the death curse? Yeah now it really feels like he’ll become an antagonist since the curse will affect his personality over time

shatterfrost curse still better ngl

but it is a cool idea no?

Sorta just sounds like an upgrade to froststeel

frostmetal*

also literally how that’s metal

Frostmetal freezes and shatters freeze

This sounds practically just like that but with the 100% clash rate of shatter.

I’m failing to see the logic since shatter is like an energy and metal is a solid but aight

his journal seems to imply the possibility of that

Death curse might be strong but I doubt it’s as strong as a grand fire curse to the point it makes him go insane or something + Morden was and is of interest to the Order which could suggest he has some sort or protection against adverse effects of the curse.

I don’t want to have to murder my boy morden

Death magic was said to cause insanity on the old trello card, but yes given the fact that he (along with us) we’re tested and experimented on for his magic capability that may suggest some extended resilience to insanity from curses

Not a given thought

Curses don’t necessarily affect personality
