his journal seems to imply the possibility of that
Death curse might be strong but I doubt it’s as strong as a grand fire curse to the point it makes him go insane or something + Morden was and is of interest to the Order which could suggest he has some sort or protection against adverse effects of the curse.
I don’t want to have to murder my boy morden
Death magic was said to cause insanity on the old trello card, but yes given the fact that he (along with us) we’re tested and experimented on for his magic capability that may suggest some extended resilience to insanity from curses
Not a given thought
Curses don’t necessarily affect personality
If I go with my current theory of us being used by the Gods as catalysts for their continued existence as a single thing, Morden should be fine. I hope. I don’t want to have to fight him, bro only got us as his last remaining friend.
Bro i love that attention to detail made by vetex. Morden translating to murder is genius considering what curse morden absorbed.
Foreshadowing
Bro I DO NOT want to fight our boy morden
(unless it’s optional as like a buddy battle that would be cool)
even normal curses can fuck with your head a whole lot though, an ancient magic based curse like the death curse would probably be worse
Endgame super bosses where you just fight your buddies because who else are you gonna fight at that level?
endgame iris better get sun magic + blaze
Leader of the grand navy, red council, and scorch curse user pls
Vetex denied the whole insanity thing and replaced it with Sea Curses affecting your personality since you are literally one with it which is why I viewed it this way, I don’t think he’s gonna go insane or something but that he’ll become crueler and have less of a value of life due to the curse.
Personality might be the wrong word but this is what I mean
My thing is death magic originally said it caused insanity to its user on the trello card so it’s a fair leap in logic
granted that card was snapped out of existence and I do not want my dear Mord to perish in my arms
What about the gravity curse?
Would that be elemental or external.
It’s based off a magic but someone can’t transform into gravity
If you can turn into Wind (which is the movement of air, not air itself), then turning into Gravity should be fine.
It’d just be an energy like effect probably, but that depends on how vetex depicts it
And you think turning into death makes more sense than turning into gravity because?
I believe he already showed a hint of that by saying Neviro (I believe is his name) was a weakling and played it off as a fact.
i think h general consensus is that if there’s a magic equivalent then it’s an elemental curse and if there’s no magic it’s an external curse. maybe an exception to this is the growth curse but i think it could be either
Can confirm that Randal’s Growth Curse is indeed an elemental one.
