To begin this persuasive paragraph im going to start off by saying please be nice to those in the comments. The reason i would dare praise deepwoken on the forums is because i can and also the card system is a intresting way of being rewarded for leveling up. seriously what other game has done this? When you level up you are always rewarded no matter if you have no luck or have luck each card can make or break your build which adds to the intensity of the game. not only that but the magic customization and the mantra cards really just screams original.
in my opinion more devs should take after this game it has alot of unique and original ideas.

yeah it is unique and original but there is no way that RNG/ PK dictated system is even close to a masterpiece
The luck part is a terrible tragedy i have no idea what the hell ragoozer was thinking but besides that its pretty good
yeah if they removed the whole luck system dictating cars I think it could probably a good system
i hate the rng but getting luck through killing players aint to bad

Literly every roguelike ever implements this. You reach a level, you get a random upgrade
At least most of these you can reset runs much easier and get the build you want
Past 8 powers I’ve gotten 7 rares and 1 legendary LOL (power of depths farming + 1 or 2 ferryman per power up, gonna move onto primadon soon)
