Honestly, I might just close this since it isn’t really heading anywhere.
I understand both sides of the argument tbh, I do agree that the forums are really dry and there isn’t much variety in the posts, but at the same time there are still people that use it for various purposes, i.e. posting art. If people want to use the forums then I guess you should let them be.
I WOULD have said that you could just use discord but not everyone has/wants to use Discord so again, closing the forums completely is going to be unfair for some, especially considering AO isn’t planned to be released until late this year or early next year.
tl;dr - It’s not a bad idea to lock most of the forum up until AO releases but I personally wouldn’t since the forum is still active and still has a use (somewhat).
