Disable Heal potions in PvP combat

Like oh my fucking god I was ganking someone who ganked my low lvl, he was a lb aoe agility warrior, I was using a fucking snow basic file, and he used 3 full heal potions and a slowness V gel and still got red before killing me, before following it with an “ez” I hate potions so much omg

I’d say it’s better to nerf their scaling in PvP, outright disabling them… Idk honestly
Besides, Vetex stubbornly refuses to make any difference between PvP and PvE which would mean PvE gets rekt as well

Or maybe make healing potions give a short lasting status effect that is rapid healing instead of instant healing

you can use potions too bruh

No that’d be going down to their level

skill issue then… you’ll never kill the low level ganker lb aoe agility warriors without using potions

Are you stupid?

if thats the problem then (although i didn’t ever encountered this but) i got an idea
each usage of healing potion should extend potion sickness depending on its tier (lets name it penalty)
so drinking 3 full heal potions would take much longer to do so:
first - +0 min penalty
second - +10 min penalty
third - +25 min penalty
penalty wears off after defeating all opponent(s), or in pve scenario after combat effect dissapears
tbh these type of people just do whatever to make someone’s day worse
greatest thing you can do against these people is to show them facts
or whats much more effective: ignoring them like garbage they really are…

“make potions be useless for their biggest use!” ??? This sounds deranged

How about a guide? It’s an ingame feature after all, you expect people to not use it? That’s dumb on your part.

HOW TO KILL A LEADERBOARD PLAYER

  1. Know your enemy
All leaderboard players use some form of potion advantage, whether it’d be healing, slow gels or even corroding/melting, they never want to risk dying because they care too much for their sweet renown.
Also, always expect a fight against a metamancer, aoe demon or speed lord, always check what they play before going up against them.

  2. Prepare potions
As stated previously, most, if not all leaderboard players use potions, so you should stock up on some too, preferrably healing and slowness, since they are common to be seen running in a fight they are losing to heal up and come back.

  3. Stalk & Ambush (if they don’t have an island)
Look out for them, see where they are, observe them diligently, once you see them occupied, jump straight in with a combo, one that deals a lot of damage.

  4. During the fight
Make sure to always know when they are running, as this is when you need slowness V gel (you should equip it before fighting), always make sure to have other pots that could help like power, agility or healing in case you get hurt enough.

  5. Success
If all goes to plan, no one else reinforces the leaderboard player, you would have killed one and gotten a decent amount of renown and possibly infamy, after that, prepare for the trash talk as these people are very inferior to you because of the simple fact of being leaderboard, which makes them toxic, runners and metaplayers.

oh, so you are one of those?
its fine tho, not like someone’s envious…
now lets kindly keep it away somewhere more private and not get off-topic, or just to not talk about this (at least any time soon)

AO player when someone else actually used their resources
(they hate agility users being fast potion users using potion effects)

It is how it is. Use potions too

Brother I’ve been leaderboarding hunting for a year or so, I know what I’m doing, it’s just such a stupid feature that never shouldn’t been added

and you still can’t craft potions?
:sob:
