the humble ancient spirit weapon
Don’t worry, Spirit Mutations noticed mage was unaffected, and after being better Oracle, they’ll just become better mage to compensate.
“No, we actually can use Ancient magics including the strongest ones like Death, which if we regen more health than the damage you can deal in the next 5 seconds— you die! Also we have 99% of all your spells with an additional imbue that gives our magic higher stats for free.”
The legendary arcanium weapon with an ancient magic imbued into it naturally + the user’s lost magic + grease
Savant when they obtain the Legendary Arcanium Weapon blessed by every god, perfectly made for their Ancient Magic and Fighting style, with a grease that includes 50 effects that are normally exclusive to potions, and the ability to slot in any weapon skill it desires:
4 way savants will feel like this one dayc
Unfortunately for paladins, mage is the main character, we’re all also still legacies, and galaga will hold vetex at gunpoint until he allows them to give us mages lots of yummy new magics
While lore wise “Silas” can cause they’re a legacy. Gameplay wise Spirit mutations sound like a paladin feature due to mages well. Not exactly using spirit energy
Oh, no, obviously they’re usable for Mages— but clearly, having Spirit aptitude would make you better at using them! Every percent of spirit you have makes Spirit Magics better stats and you need at least 40% in Spirit for those magics to obtain their status effects!
Don’t worry saladins will indirectly make sure they are shot dead
Except this wasn’t the only extreme response. What do I need to do, perform a peer-reviewed study on the average community reaction to the moochezz drama?
“Damn, Spirit focused Paladins / Saladins are mogging Oracle, gotta nerf them!”
“Damn, Magic focused Paladins / Saladins are mogging Mage, gotta nerf them!”
Wasn’t it more the vocal loud minority then majority? I imagine most players don’t even use a warlord to even start caring about the hybrid weapon changes. Is it still bad people did that? Yeah though I don’t think it was the majority.
I think savants are truly the sleeper agent class that one day will get to strong to nerf without murdering every other class with it. Which will be funny
I think when it’s bad enough that a dev ends uo quitting a few days later and the entire subreddit needed to shut down over the drama, then yeah it’s kind of bad.
No, you don’t get it
Hybrid content alone will be shot
Pure content is too high for savants to reach, so any impact on pure builds will be relatively minor compared to savants
Thus, paladins will be left with exclusive content far out of their reach
A magevant, for instance, will always also have to be savantlord, or juggervant, or knightvant, but after every last one of them is killed, they will be left with no contentbto leech off
I mean at that point savant itself would probably need to be targetted. People talk as if Warlord taking a collateral was unintentional when it very much was intentional.
Didn’t moochezz and vetex both say it was time and motivation + FR draining him?
Timing is too convenient for me to not say it was probably the straw that broke the camel’s back.
Usually multiple things pile together that end up resulting in this. It’s not just one thing or the other.
except for when Warvants could get really expensive Weapon moves like Sword step for relatively cheap.
Savant is gonna get every Hybrids killed and then drag Paladin to the depths of Hell once we realize Saladin has some Mage exclusive content and Oracle exclusive content
responses, I never stated that was the only extreme response during the strength weapon changes. I’m just a little annoyed you took the vetex route of blaming the community for the actions of a vocal minority
