I think you’re missing the connection between all of these skills being large, multi hit AoE moves (at least most of them are, I haven’t seen aftershock but I assume given that it’s grouped with all of those attacks that it’s also one)
those who know of the server list ![]()
I do know about it, I just don’t want to bother plus sometimes you end up in a clan server and get bothered a bunch while trying to just play the story.
Because some people take things too far and Vetex decided to take it out on the game.
Might not have been someone that’s “supposed” to have a custom magic. From what I hear, there’s some exploit, cheat, or something along those lines that allows the use of any magic, even in other games. Haven’t seen it myself, I may have been taken on a ruse cruise, but I remember people talking about it when discussing some guy that does that kind of thing.
multihit aoe moves with in total about the same damage as a regular move
Not really actually because if they were they’d be pretty useless
pulsar fots etc on average hits like 1-3 times.. bringing the total damage to around the same as a regular move
That usually should get you more ngl, but even then this misses the point that these big AoE moves were being used to damage npcs at the same time to get more regen, so even if it was doing the same damage as a regular attack to each person/npc you’re still doubling your self healing output to the point that it makes you objectively unfun to play against.
This isn’t ruining people’s fun, it’s nerfing an obviously bullshit thing
then… make it so that you cant regen from npcs whilst in a certain radius of someone you are hunting? Radial combat tagging is already a thing so I dont see why that wouldn’t work, rather than just nerfing it in every instance
I agree! I think this would be a better change, though it makes it too limited to hunting only imo, and that might need some changes.
I think, however, you should’ve started with this instead of jumping immediately to “BALANCE TEAM HATES FUN!” and writing everything off as that.
How are you guys still missing the point
you’re the one missing the point
I think people generally talk about what they think is bad more than what they think is good. Which is why most communities are so damn capricious. I mean, there must be a reason why journalists prefer writing negative things in article titles (to clickbait people into opening them because it is what gets the most attention).
Thing about AO is that we spend hundreds if not thousands of hours into it so any problem with it is magnified due to our investment
It’s probably just the problem with the reduced trust the people have in the dev team, full release pretty much just shattered a lot of expectations people had for the game.
I’m sure the reaction wasn’t valid but it’s definitely being fueled by the bad reputation.
Friendly reminder that whatever shitty decision moochezz implements is done on the behalf of either Vetex or the balancing team. Sure you could blame him for adding the changes but he’s only doing what he’s being told to do.
nah Moochezz definitely snuck that change in, evil guy wanted to sabotage all Warlord players; even though the patchnote deliberately says he did this on request of Bteam, which we already know has to go through Vetex.
PoV: You know absolutely nothing about what you’re talking about. Nobody there praises the bteam
Well the other guy has the whole magazine with the Warlord nerfs there. Realistically speaking it might be intended to be neutral due to the presence of the guy crying.
I don’t know why you wouldn’t just… not use the Hitler dead template though.
