not even my clan anymore lmao its avarice now and its only me angryhalf guest and qc i doubt you can beat any of them in a 1v1 but this is getting off topic
i think you are forgetting that majority of moves that move you foward take up movement crystals, not counting leaps. im pretty sure that soaring eagle does take up a movement crystal but dont quote me on this as i think dual swords are cringe af
removing T jumps and reflexs would destroy PVP since majority of projectile moves are just way to fat to not hit the floor the second their cast, and having a leap spell take up a possible offensive/defensive attack doesnt sound fun to work with
and im just going to assume you didnt do PVP until the dark sea update but before reflex dodges were added the PVP was so fucking stiff and boring, literally just T jump or magic leap and blast or hitscan, now yes the pvp is still like this but its more bearable due to the fact we can aggressively move foward or retreat in the air
Nobody ever runs out of 2 air movement, even you. I watched some of your medal clips (why do you moan in everyone of them??!?!) you ran out of air movement once in 4-5 clips, and you hit the ground about 0.1 seconds after you ran out of it. Idk about soaring eagle, but I know rising tide doesnt use one
removing movement would require a overall size nerf obviously. Other than that, combat would not be ground based with the removal of T jumping, there is still over 15 moves/skills can give movement upwards
I have pvped before dark sea, I think dark sea was 1.14? the best time, and my favorite time to pvp was 1.13, excluding crystal iron leg because that was not fun to fight
Didn’t he say he would never do it because it’s too late into the game already
Also imo they should stop nerfing everything and create metas and instead start buffing stuff to be on par with other classes and whatever otherwise there’ll always be that one meta that always changes when they keep gutting everything else
That’s because everything was braindead easy to play.
The game at that point was unfathomably easy and broken, basically any class could one shot everyone in island sized AoE’s, and the players who are bad at combat (generally those who don’t actually do high PvP), liked that. Because they didn’t need to actually learn to play, they could just smash buttons.
Reflexes added a new layer of complexity and severely nerfed the spam your keys playstyle, so obviously the bad players don’t like that.
Savant was legit one of the most braindead classes a few months back, they could abuse tier scaling stuff to get Mage sized spells with strength mobility and regen spam, literally just run and spam magic aoes.
yes, absolutely, its not as bad as it was, that doesn’t change that dodge reflexes in pvp were a mistake, pre reflexes pvp was more fun and more skillfull, yeah we had the braindead metas but that doesn’t change that when its an non-meta vs non-meta build that pvp was skillfull, maybe even a meta vs meta build would also be based on who can take advantage better of it, which isnt as skillfull but still it took u to understand the idea and the meta and how to counter it and what and not do, etc, now id just reflex into an actual good position bc thinking when i attack, what i will use, what comes next and my opponent intentions are, might as well not exist when i can just reflex away and punish an actual good move
parriers might as well be instinct, before parries were everything, u had to know the stats and combos and predict, from a lot of parries to just a few, atleast u knew based on who parries more consistent on who is better and has higher chances of winning, ofc u could throw off that guy and outsmart or do something else to change the fight, it took some knowledge, now u can do that by pressing 1 button, from skillfull to press 1 button
