I plan on going Mage, and according to its Awakening card, it gets another 2 base magicks
But like
I dont really want more base magics, id rather get more lost magycks
I can barely focus on my 1 magyk, and im already bad at that
you can get a different awakening if you’re fine with only two base magics, since you can mix and match them
Wait really?
Wait so if i just invested a single point into vitality, and then did nothing till level 120, I’d get the Warden Awakening?
I mean if this is true, then Ill just invest like 1 point into Strength and Magic, and then once I get the Warlock Awakening buff, just switch to a Mage Stat Build
possibly
I mean, are stats even that needed, theres always armor
This is a dope idea, thanks sock!
why get magic infused fighting styles if you’re gonna be a mage tho?
So you see
I want Sailor Fist
I dont care about any of the other Fighting Styles
Just Sailor Fisht
The Warlock Awakening apparently lets you have your fighting styles scale off of Strength AND Magic, so if I got that, then I could invest 99% of my Stat Points into Magic and have Sailor Fist still be viable
Also my aim sucks (which is weird, since im going Mage, a long ranged class. ngl, i was hoping to just be the support of my party, and spam heal spells when lost magics came out), so being able to do fist combat would be useful
Yeah you can mix awakenings, it’s not really too clear how it works yet though
Yeah but it would probably be hard to get through the game when ur as strong a very low-level character
Imo the only stat that can be replaced by armor is Vitality, since if you’re a mage you’ll need magic stat to unlock more spells, a warrior needs them to unlock weapon skills, etc
True, but itll be worth it (i think)
sailor fist warlock?? BASED??
also you could do this but the only abilities you would have are blast attack and weapon m1s, both with very low damage
No, because in order to be considered a warlock you need to have a balanced allocation of points between strength and magic (I think you need to spend 40% of your points on each, but I could be wrong). Also, I’m not sure how the damage is going to scale off of strength and magic, but assuming its 50/50, you probably won’t do much damage if you aren’t putting points into both stats.
you could just put 1 in magic and 1 in strength to get it, and then switch back to mage afterwards (if it lets you get awakenings with underleveled stats)
But the first awakening happens at level 120. There is no way you’re going to reach that point in the story with 2 allocated stat points
you could reset your stats before getting it
I really doubt that the whole stat reset thing is going to happen; I just can’t see how it would work with awakenings. Plus, it would make every decision regarding your character’s build essentially worthless since you can just go back and redo it.
it resets them
not really, just lets you fix your stats if you put them in bad or change your mind, and you’d still have to find good items if you completely change your build
