I still like modifiers though, finally buffs the non-boss drops and brings more build diversity
Hyperspace, I’m surprised you didn’t develop a hate for jewel substats since they’re literally even grindier than modifiers and, get this, it’s availability depends on the kindness of the people you meet
also I just think modifiers aren’t impactful enough to be worth grinding hard for
like okay I guess your ash cloud lasts half a second longer because you luck 4’d every jewel. but I didn’t waste that much time/money getting scales cause that barely matters
You don’t need luck4
You just need ~5x the amount of reagents you’re gonna need
say for example you need a single 5% energy regeneration, on average you’d need 25 coppershroom to get it (if you have maxed jewelcrafting)
ye but if u use resistance you’re sacrificing stats that could’ve been invested into power or defense
on the other hand if you use blocking power you don’t have to sacrifice any stats
I personally use energy regen and only energy regen when I can. Can someone please explain to me the point of air capacity when water breathing exists, and the reason CLIMBING SPEED exists as a stat?
Blocking power also makes some sense, though the stat seems too weak to actually get use out of…
Because they aren’t. You need to be lucky, meaning that you have to either expand a terrible amount of jewels and reagents or a good enough luck potion.
What I mean is—why would you elect for those effects when you have other options that fulfill those roles? Low-level water breathing potions are DIRT cheap, and there are SEVERAL ways to regain stamina indefinitely while climbing.
heres why i use air capacity:
A. im too lazy to get good potion stuff
B. im too lazy to drink potions
C. it removes the need to drink a potion when i want to run (im annoying like that)
D. removes the hassle of getting prepared to do diving spots and whatnot
e. saves me catalysts
6. uh idk its funny
