Do people even try to maximize their jewel substats?

I still like modifiers though, finally buffs the non-boss drops and brings more build diversity

Hyperspace, I’m surprised you didn’t develop a hate for jewel substats since they’re literally even grindier than modifiers and, get this, it’s availability depends on the kindness of the people you meet

Nevermind I’m airstriking your firstborn child

i just use t1 reagents without luck and call it a day, grinding is way too tedious in this game so I don’t want to spend any more time than I have to

also I just think modifiers aren’t impactful enough to be worth grinding hard for

like okay I guess your ash cloud lasts half a second longer because you luck 4’d every jewel. but I didn’t waste that much time/money getting scales cause that barely matters

You don’t need luck4
You just need ~5x the amount of reagents you’re gonna need
say for example you need a single 5% energy regeneration, on average you’d need 25 coppershroom to get it (if you have maxed jewelcrafting)

wow okay let me just gather 5x the golden apples for my jewel set, that’ll be a great use of my time

Why do you use blocking power isn’t resistance better

Anyways yeah, with golden apples I’d just go and use luck

ye but if u use resistance you’re sacrificing stats that could’ve been invested into power or defense
on the other hand if you use blocking power you don’t have to sacrifice any stats

resistance doesn’t work on blocking anymore

I’ve certainly tried.

how the hell are you getting forty fucking percent

I personally use energy regen and only energy regen when I can. Can someone please explain to me the point of air capacity when water breathing exists, and the reason CLIMBING SPEED exists as a stat?

Blocking power also makes some sense, though the stat seems too weak to actually get use out of…

it adds up if you block a lot (i dont lmao)

To not need to use water breathing.

Climbing faster when you don’t feel like jumping a lot.

i do :raised_hand:

Because they aren’t. You need to be lucky, meaning that you have to either expand a terrible amount of jewels and reagents or a good enough luck potion.

What I mean is—why would you elect for those effects when you have other options that fulfill those roles? Low-level water breathing potions are DIRT cheap, and there are SEVERAL ways to regain stamina indefinitely while climbing.

You can only have two potion effects at once, and climbing speed makes you climb faster, stamina conservation is only a side benefit.

Maybe I should make a max climbing speed set, just for the fun of it.

heres why i use air capacity:
A. im too lazy to get good potion stuff
B. im too lazy to drink potions
C. it removes the need to drink a potion when i want to run (im annoying like that)
D. removes the hassle of getting prepared to do diving spots and whatnot
e. saves me catalysts
6. uh idk its funny
