I made a previous topic asking how many people used potions, adding onto that, do you like potions? Should they have been a feature? Should they be nerfed? I’m curious to see how others think especially those heavily involved with pvp.
meh most of the times u can just sell ingredients for alot of money instead of making a potion
not really worth making any potions except revealing/water breathing/luck imo
Potions are extremely useful for general exploring / pve use, having a revealing potion does wonders for bosses like Carrina and Calvus who like to teleport all over the place and have huge visually blocking attacks.
Then waterbreathing, which is essential for any kind of under water exploration is just a must.
gale and tide are fun, water breathing is necessary (except with the jewel issue), mystery is an interesting and cheap gamble, and revealing is op on paper but turns out the highlight limit hurts it a ton
dont make any potion other than those
other than that, i dont completely despite them being strong in pvp because i like running away and not being forced to fight (which i feel like is how potions are used most of the time, compared to winning fights), but on the other end it also makes it easy for those who instigated the fight to flee as soon as they start losing which is really lame
They’re cool, though honestly with how rare some of them are (or just really annoying to farm), there’s less incentive to use em for their proper use, they just end up being Brig Allowance which is what most people are doing rn
