My headcanon is that people don’t actually scream their attack names before using them (because that would be stupid) but what do you guys think?

considering mages dont need to chant or anything lore-wise to cast spells, probably not
unless someone wants to sound cool or something
i think of it as anime logic
In my own arcane verse all mage spell names are just Fire Blast/Earth Blast/Fire Explosion/Earth Javelin/Wind Pulsar but mages typically don’t have to shout their spell names.
Mages only scream their spell names if they are chanting to make it stronger so that magic can flow through their body more freely. If a mage casts a named attack it’s usually an ultimate art.
