I have a warlock who’s a lawyer and is notoriously good at breakdancing (not sure how the breakdancing became a running joke but it sure as hell has)
I have a Thri-Kreen Hex/Elo Bard who just wants to make friends. His nation method of coercion is by picked up the physician(home brew) and using them as a seduction tool due to a certain scenario on a bar.
I’ll tell the story. I should mention that this is sci-fi with medieval fantasy (hard to explain) We were in this town looking for a blood cult, and we knew it was prevalent in this town, so we went to the bar to get information. Most party members go to different groups in the bar to get info, but don’t get anything useful. Me and the physician go to the barkeep, and I come up with this crazy plan to seduce the barkeep and get info.
I have instrument of illusions that doesn’t take an action, and I have minor illusion as a Bard spell. First I plan to ask the barkeep their type of person posing as a curious alien from a different planet (I am, Thri-Kreen are uncommon). Then I will ask if I could play my instrument on the bar. I works create the illusion of their ideal person walking into the open bar door, and I would use minor illusion to initiate their ideal voice.
This was my plan, but it went off the rails when they shyly pointed toward the physician. Chaos ensues. Social awkward doctor tries to seduce person that they really don’t want to seduce. Led on by the smooth jazz played by my bard’s jazzophone. Turns out the barkeep had the info and way willing to give it to the love of their life. Then if course we beat him up and tied him.
Since then, that is the method for every social interaction. I have to convince the crew of a hyper boat to join our side? I pick up the doctor with my four arms and go. I need to convince the guards to let us go? Doctor time! The really funny part is that if I were to try it myself, since I am an Elo Bard my minimum roll is a dirty 20, so it is just worse.

she has no backstory about why she’s blind but she had 0 cash when we started and the dm felt bad for me so she went to gamble in some shadey alley and somehow managed to pull all the right cards (while somehow being blind??)
oh yeah I forgot to mention, my character has a dragon assisting him in tax fraud (big pile of money hidden from the IRS as his hoard)

I want to play DnD but I have no where to play it 
try getting some friends interested, or if that doesn’t work you can try finding a place that hosts dnd sessions.

I’ve been interested in DnD for quite a while but haven’t played it, other than Baldur’s Gate 3 and a couple other DnD-based games
