Warrior tried killing my AFK level 70 file while i was trying to get my quest done for Caria

i saw someone yesterday trying to fight her using mainly magic m1s
i didn’t see them do a single t jump in all their attempts, i don’t know how long they would’ve spent trying to kill her if they didn’t party me to help

literally everything wrong with this game is either from mage or warrior there is no inbetween

id say theres nothing left for me to do, but really its more that i dont care enough whatsoever to bother grinding for an halfway decent item loadout
also, if im ever doing dark sea expeditions again, then i’ll wait for the dark sealed buff next update

Started shortly after WoM was openned (Somewhere on May 2020 I think). Playing since then, periodically touching grass after getting fed up of it (for around 2 months).

Do I play now? Yes, I am.

I wouldn’t say there arent things out there left for me to do.

I could try to join a serious clan or become a bounty hunter.
Maybe even reach the mythic epicenter.

Its that it just does not seem fun.

The sad truth is I enjoy making builds more than I enjoy actually using them. Usually reaching max level trying the character out and being disappointing. Then swapping to another character.

And its usually because I have grown to dislike both the PvE and PvP.

The PvE after so much time becomes very weak.
Bosses have very little to no replay value.
Fighting 260 NPCs end up becoming more of a puzzle on how to cheese the bugger rather than fight it as intended.
Sinking ships is awful. The ship AI tries so little and the naval combat for a fantasy setting feels very bland and then you are forced to fight the enemy crew every time for the reward in a confined samey arena.

Its not that I hate the AI but the AO PvE gameplay loop.
The new World of Magic PvE ended being kinda cool due to endless leveling and completelly overpowered NPCs.
In AO the NPCs are more dynamic and diverse and yet the gameplay loop feels hollow.

And I fail to find any appeal to PvP outside from a friendly duel.
Finding a fight with someone who wants to fight is a chore and more often than not they wont be at your skill level either higher or lower.
Let alone bounty hunting that seems like a true chore looking for people through servers for them to log off.
I am a strong defender on adding a PvP arena with matchmaking not because I want a competitive AO but because it would make fighting others casually less of a chore.

Nowadays I spent a lot more time in the forums discussing or complaining on the AO game design rather than actually playing the game. It must have been about a month since I last booted the thing.
But its alright.
I had hundreds of hours on gameplay out of AO and can say for all its horrible designs it is one of the most passionate and inspired projects I ever seen in Roblox.

I will simply await the next update.

Played it since WoM open test 4 (according to badges), so been a player of it for quite a long time
