Do you think the stat range between magics/fstyles should be wider, stay roughly the same, or narrower?

By stat range as in lowest-highest damage/speed/size.

Right now, for magics:

  • Size: 1x to 1.3x (0.3)
  • Speed: 0.65x to 1.6x (0.95)
  • Damage (no DoT): 0.75x to 1x (0.25)

I would want a wider stat range. Imagine if:

  • light had 0.5x damage + 2.7x speed + 1.15x size
  • lightning had 1.25x damage + 1.85x speed + 0.6x size
  • wind had 0.7x damage + 1.6x speed + 1.5x size
  • metal had 1.5x damage + 0.5x speed + 1.4x size

u know magic speed affinity (x0.5 speed) doesnt affect start up right, basically u are giving instant self explo nukes to metal

(ye this means light and metal has the same start up with 0 dex)

wider only to bring metal back to 1.025x damage (it’s entire point is being a hard hitter i don’t mind other stats being nerfed)

The stat range for Base Magics is fine as is.

No doubt some Losts and likely every Ancient will shatter past said range.

Until a bteam member gets folded and decides to gut all lost and ancient magics

I can already smell them screaming about Regulus (wind level damage, but 1.2x size with 1.5x speed)

Narrower so I have an exscuse to say we should buff their speed (berserkers will barely feel the nerf and be 2x faster).

Making the stat range wider would just make bad magics worse and busted magics even more busted. I might be considered a weirdo for liking the changes that were made to standardize magic speed because it helped better balance them out.

What I’m more concerned with is making more magics actually unique from each other and not a slight stat-swap with different synergies.
