Do you use shiftlock in pvp? (poll)

• No shiftlock at all
• Shiftlock sometimes
• Always using shiftlock

During pvp, I find myself switching to shiftlock when im using aerial moves. It seems helpful for circling around or under an opponent. However, it is alot more difficult to aim with it on and I switch off for anything that requires precise aim like blasts or shots.

I just wanted to hear people’s opinions for it and get a consensus.

What I use shiftlock for:

• Telportation moves
• Movement moves
• Dashing movement
• When a person is on the ground (sometimes)

Non shiftlock:

• Air attacks
• Projectile moves
• Placed moves

Sometimes your character and the magic circle can get in the way of you trying to use projectile attacks causing you to lose-sight/lose track of where you’re aimming

I heard months ago, back before diving spots and the easter update, that it’s better to use no shift lock. Though I was only a lightning mage, and even when I made my crystal conjurer and thermo explosion warlock I still kept to that. I only really use shift lock when I try to m1 something with a warlock, as it’s kinda awkward to point yourself in the right damn direction to hit anything without it. Though maybe I should consider it more, I find myself in plenty of situations where I have my FREAKING CURSOR over an opponent, I use a blast or flying slash or whatever, and it moves slightly to the side of them! Maybe it’s because I don’t emphasize facing my opponent enough, but it’s still stupid.

I don’t think I even have a main, I keep swapping between slots lol. I’ve made eight characters!
