Guess the long and short of the question is: is the loot from sealed chests shared in a party when turned in, or do you have to manually share the chests with your friends? (AKA, Each of us take 2 of the them personally)

yeah you can take sealed chests from only party members, unless you sink another player’s boat first. cant share them unless you split the chests between each other
i guess it makes defeating pirate ships easier? idk if you’d want to treasure hunt together
I am specifically asking:
I got 5 sealed chests, if I take all of them to the shipwright- does my whole party get some sort of reward or is it EXCLUSIVLEY me who gets it, (So we have to split the loot across the board)
it only gives it to whoever turns it in, the rewards are mainly items so it would be weird to split those
Yikes… k, that’s what I was wondering about.
It’s a good thing otherwise you could massively inflate the amount of loot and money you get by just playing with some friends and turning everything into one person at the end

Other than actually having fun, you could secure the treasure more efficiently than doing it solo.
A more skilled player will have a hard time taking the treasure with two of you dogging them down. The more the merrier.
