I’m curious as I’m trying to plan my 2nd magic as an Ink user and Paper is a pretty obvious choice. I was just wondering if charred paper was just aesthetic or if it adds a burning effect, and if so does it replace the bleeding effect?
Charred paper is just a visual aesthetic, it does not function any different from the other variations.

When you are in the magic selection screen, the game tells you that color variations are just visual and don’t affect gameplay.
No charred is only a visual effect.
