Long ago, the four stats lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the Balance Team attacked. Only the Savant, master of all four stats, could stop them, but when the world needed him most, he vanished. This experimental change seems like it’d be better for Thermo overall; the way I see it, I’m already supposed to be launching techniques left and right, so getting a faster heat buildup from it would be rewarding.
I feel like thermo should get more buffs from heat, but also have significantly slower heat gain AND drain
Right now thermo players are basically at max heat throughout the entire fight, but it would be cool if you started out complete dogshit but throughout the fight you slowly become stronger until you are unequivocally the best fighting style. Granted this would have to be pretty slow to let people have a chance to kill you before you become functionally unstoppable
I believe this is what the balance team was going for but Vetex decided that getting rid of pre-heating is a no-no, so with high heat being easy to obtain and simple to maintain it’s being balanced as though the bar doesn’t exist
