lineart stuff going on, the thicker line denotes the bridge and dorsum of the nose, and the triangle with the thinner lines are supposed to be the shading between the nose and the face

I personally think that a way to fix it is rotating the small triangle a little bit and adjusting its position to make it look more natural. Another, more nitpicky thing about the triangle is the way that it just slightly changes its trajectory between brush strokes. Little details like that need to be precise and accurate, or they’ll just make the art look slightly awkward.
I’d also recommend not using lines for shading unless it’s for hatching because they’re usually indicators of where an object starts and ends, texture of an object, etc, but if you think that hatching or using different colors to shade doesn’t fit with your style, it’s okay to keep it the way it is.
A way to practice would be to draw noses at different angles and focus on the different planes of the nose. Here’s an image you can study:

Other than that, this art looks really good! The composition is nice, your anatomy, especially the hands, is accurate, and it tells a unique story with a lot of cool implications.
