Drew this comic, it turns out getting art resources without a car is harder than I thought. Ordering them online is expensive so I’d rather get them in person at a store.

Art Practice Day 276
This is a chart of a power system I’ve been developing for my worldbuilding
If this looks familiar, then that’s because it is. It’s essentially a r̶i̶p̶o̶f̶f̶ reworked nen system from HxH but with more categories and a different name.
I have yet to do the percents and math calculations, but this is only about 1/5th of the entire system, and I might make charts for the other aspects as well. If you look closely, it kinda looks like an alchemy circle, which my AU has in canon.
All of this is very complex and obfuscated on purpose. Some of it obviously still needs fine-tuning. Which, in my definition, is an entire essay’s worth of information and limitations.
(I take my worldbuilding and writing very seriously)

It’s a bit of both. I usually have to read some art concept then I go onto drawing. Sometimes I draw random stuff for fun so I can keep myself from burning myself out.

For an update on the book, I have calculated the money I’d require to buy the resources I need to effectively learn.

Art Practice Day 280
Doing art for this long has started to take a toll on my body. My back hurts incredibly bad even if I move slightly. I’m now just like my favorite manga author Togashi.
Since I’m somewhat bedridden I drew my room since that’s all I have to look at. I wish I had one of those phone pens instead of finger drawing.
It’s obviously less colorful but I needed to cheer myself up. No idea if I’ll go to a doctor for this.

I should be back up by tomorrow.
Meanwhile I had a really weird dream that if I described in detail would get me banned so I just drew what the atmosphere was like.
It was like a black windy grassy swamp area with smoke, people, and food trucks.
Basically just Florida terrain.

I’m finally back to cooking with paper and pencil again. I’m also not usually awake this time of hour because I wanted to drop my April fools masterpiece.
I drew a part 2 to the one story from some days earlier but instead of racism it’s gooning.

I have about half the funds needed to start my advanced learning, I also want to do effekseer since it’s built into my copy of RPG Maker MZ. Doing vfx and stuff seems cool anyways.
I also drew this calm picture after drawing 3 humanoid figures yesterday.

While I wait for my resources to come in the mail I’m thinking about reading a book on music theory or one on Japanese.
I really wanna make good music alongside making good art but I also wanna learn Japanese much better as well.
Decisions are tough. In the meantime I made a goblin to ward off same-face syndrome. I really like the verticality in the design I gave him.
