My brain short circuited and decided to draw brainrot fun while I wait for my $142 worth of supplies.
The gator head in specific has sentimental value because like 14 years ago my dad said he would beat me if I liked the gators (Football team).

Now that I have spent an important amount of money, I have now advanced like 2 pages in the book.
For that part I have drawn this girl thinking about eating a goblin’s head, because why not
But then I ran into my first arts and crafts project
I had closely followed the instructions of this tutorial using the magical item known as a ruler, and was successful in creating both a small viewfinder and a big viewfinder.
I wish i had your determination
After doing it for a while it becomes a routine that you unconsciously remember to do.
Once you start and continue to do it it gets easier to keep up.

I was instructed to draw 3 images as a way to measure my progress
I have to draw me, my hand, and someone I know/knew from memory.
I started with someone I know, I didn’t trust myself to effectively draw someone good so I drew someone I dislike.
This is someone from like a decade ago. He stole my Sega genesis and played it right in front of me. I got my get back but I never got the genesis back.
Saddest part is that it had all the games on it too. My favorite was Bonanza Bros and Sonic The Hedgehog 2.

Next I drew myself
one of them being ugly
And the other being decent but somewhat poorly drawn.
The face in the image is the face of a person who decided to do a few hundred art days. Funniest part is that I had a mirror and I was detailing my exact facial expression right there in the moment.
Man I hate that I kinda did myself dirty but oh well this is for future art evaluation anyways.

I think this guy had the biggest glow up
But besides that I was tasked with writing my name in cursive as a practice of my original creation. The problem is that I’m gen z and I actually wasn’t taught cursive.
So I just drew my Forum username in a fancy Japanese style and hoped that it isn’t incomprehensible.

So it turns out that I stopped right in the middle of the instructions. I had to draw the thing 3 or more times in different styles (lol)
And I also stopped right before chapter 3, silly me.
From left to right and top to bottom, I call these: the light style, the long style, the short style, and the sketchy style. They may not be creative but this is the best I can do trying to write cursive in a language I’m still learning.

Also I was reading and noticed this part which got my attention.
So seeing what she is saying about unique lines being a form of authentication for artists and all having the same value, I guess this invalidates all those tiktok people who get on other artists for not drawing a bold line just like everyone else.
This can also invalidate a statement made by the one who shall not be named earlier in this very thread.
On the rare moment I get into it with another artist I’ll make sure to bring this up like the debate lord I am.

The author is continuing on with prejudice against left handed people. She even made a connection with the Latin terms of left and right with the left and rights of politics.
Interesting. I’m not good nor bad at politics but I’ll put this into my reservoir of brain knowledge.
