Art Practice Day 300
I finally finished that part of the book and can hopefully go do the exercises now
I drew this turtle as well, my animal pictures are starting to get really good.

Art Practice Day 301
4/20 weed day is funny
Anyways I just had to do something for 4/20 since I always have to smoke on this day.
Regular reading should return tomorrow.
Art Practice Day 302
I’ve reached chapter 4 so hopefully now it starts.
Over the course of the 300 days I’ve noticed that I’ve gotten good at mental image training and can consistently draw semi decently without the reliance on a reference. I think this might be a good thing.
No idea what this is even supposed to be.
This image as well as the turtle image were all drawn without looking at anything to reference by. The turtle one surprised me since I could remember what a turtle looked like from memory.
Art Practice Day 303
So, I finally got tasked with doing exercises, and I got a fairly simple one. Essentially, I had to draw something called “Face/Vase illusion,” which is a picture that can be seen as a vase but also as two people looking at each other.
These are the instructions (I put them in a grid for clarity)
I made sure to follow the instructions well and started with the left side, drawing horizontal lines, naming parts of the face, then drawing the right side of the face.
these were my results, I’m not using composition paper this time as I had spent a hefty $140 for luxury.
This is a post-review of the exercise.
I did the 6th option of letting my verbal system win, as you can see how unparallel my picture is, the mental confusion thing was pretty noticeable as well.
Art Practice Day 303
Was reading some more, no assignments this time.
I drew this nice picture of a guy giving god a melon
I lowkey wanna dip my toes into animating one day.
Art Practice Day 304
I normally post at or around 2:00 p,m but I had to do a really long exercise
I had to draw a picture of this guy upside down
It wasn’t that hard, but it took me an hour. These were the instructions
And this is a comparison between the original and my finished result when I turned them both back up. I wasn’t able to draw his head because I ran out of room on my paper.
According to the author apparently most of the students did well drawing his left leg since you don’t know what the hell it even is when you’re looking at it upside down. Therefore we relied on drawing what we saw.
Apparently we were drawing a leg that was foreshortened. I can’t really say the same for myself since my bad handwriting makes him look like a Dr. Suess character, but I do like how the legs look, so I can see the vision.
Art Practice Day 305
Decided to chill a bit after drawing that guy.
I drew this weird clockwork thing
I’ve been trying to learn to draw religious stuff and architecture designs so I can make building designs like churches or more specifically something akin to the ceiling paintings in the Sistene chapel.
Art Practice Day 306
I replaced my daily art book reading with Gartic Phone with my fellow countrymen.
Here’s my good art pieces
This is funnier without context trust
draw me dude
Sure one day
** Art Practice Day 307**
It turns out I’ll have to draw many upside down pictures to gain conscious access to R-mode. I will give myself 10 whole pictures to do rather than the 2 and then I’ll have the real world equivalent of observation haki
But before that I drew this Pac-Man ghost writing in the death note.
Art Practice Day 308
I was tasked with drawing this picture of spiderman upside down
Now here’s a comparison of both the reference and my image turned back up
If it looks easy then it is not. I swear to god drawing this shit was annoying as hell, those lines on his suit were harder than even the Edward Elric Drawing I made a while ago. It’s like playing a dungeon crawler running out of items while the last save was like an hour away.
Whatever it takes to be the best though… 9 more to go
Somehow the drawing and the angle reminds me of the wide Putin meme
Yeah the thing I draw on is wider than its height so I have to widen it otherwise I’ll run out of space.
Art Practice Day 310
I drew an upside down king. It looks like a really old lady when it’s upside down.
Here’s both of them put back. This one was a breeze
It kinda looks like one of those mewing memes where the guy is mogging.
i’d recommend keeping the same proportions as the source for the sake of accuracy rather than widening it. it also helps in using less space such that replicating certain strokes aren’t as tedious
Art Practice Day 311
I drew this swamp thing I found online
I’m noticing a trend with these upside down images where it’ll look like 2 different things when turned to different perspectives. Except for the obvious ones like Spider-Man.
