I got bored and drew an Isekai protagonist, I ended up realizing that I hated Isekai characters so to make fun of the drawing I decided to draw him like Steve Urkel. For some reason this guy has a big butt don’t ask me how that happened.
New AO OC dropped. He’s a Savant (Not the good kind. The Calvus kind, meaning he’s trash and everyone in the verse stomps him so he needs people to carry him)
His Arsenal is
Frost Metal Magic
Radius Fist
Whatever that one upcoming nyx spirit weapon is (Takes up a slot)
Lost Tier weapons, 1 strength weapon and 1 arcanium weapon (takes up 2 slots)
He thinks using a bunch of random stuff with no synergies will mathematically help him be more versatile (He is dead wrong)
EDIT: Forgot to add but his name is Stewart Fuya. First name for the reference and last name for the japanese weeb isekai last name
I’ve been trying to do that through a book I’m reading but old habits die hard so the best I can do currently right now is to just make 1 Line out of multiple smaller ones.
New Plan: Copying these dead people’s drawings is boring so I’m gonna do a new experimental strategy that just involves cramming a bunch of new stuff in as possible. This is a technique I learned when I was reading a book on C++ learning to code, the author of the book (Bjarne Stroustrup or whatever his name is) said that this strategy is used by toddlers learning their first language.
I also learned of a something called the Loomis Method via some random’s rant video. I looked into it and it seemed interesting but I noticed most of it was on the head portion so I’ve decided that I will pirate all of his books to probe even more info than just the head which is more than a TikToker will ever do (He’s dead so he won’t care). I’m a genius academic when it comes to reading so I should be a cool art master when I finish whatever books he has.
Starting from the really basic stuff and working my way up with these Andrew Loomis books. I read some pages and got to a part where he wanted me to draw a mildly humorous face.
The really demented cross-eyed goblin doing the man face is mine if you couldn’t tell. I really wanted to do more and test my new method but there’s a storm coming and I need to charge all my stuff up just in case the internet goes out again.
So now that the storm (maybe) passed. I can do art without fear of a random power outage (I still do fear random power outages because I live in a forest). I followed Andrew’s strategy for drawing balls in various 3D perspectives and positions and this is what I got.
I realized the method I used for learning C++ wasn’t going to work here so I put that one on hold, the author of this book agrees too since he said that this should be practiced for the ideal 3D look. The best part is that this method still works no matter how godawful I draw the original circle, so this will surely increase my skill in drawing breasts if I were to maybe draw them in the tear drop shape that the factory settings for women’s breasts come in.
(They look a lot like Madness Combat now that I think about it)
I was eating Breakfast (Fried Rice w/ mushrooms, grilled chicken, eggs and other stuff) and my sister said that I looked like Monoe (Yume Nikki). Me personally I don’t see the resemblance at all and the only thing in common we have is the hairstyle and eyes, but now I felt like drawing her. The end result looks like a really cursed aged up version.
Also not a big fan of my own artstyle but I have to keep it until I learn to draw good. Getting compared to a monochrome girl from a game made 2 decades ago was a surprising source of inspiration. Also off-topic but did you know the creator of Kagurabachi is Gen Z?
If you would allow me to, I would recommend you to only focus on practicing one thing at a time, and draw many of that thing. Each day it seems like you’re trying to draw something completely different.
Don’t worry I am, I’m just following the book’s recommended method of practice via this first section of the book. I also throw in a different piece of practice sometimes to refresh myself and make sure I don’t burn myself out doing the same things over and over again.
I also try to apply what I learn to do unique stuff as well (Like the Edward picture and the newest beach ball picture)
