Randomly spawned and structured dungeons or trials
Dungeons and Trial chambers - How would they work?
These would work just like the dark sea generation, their structures are randomized and will have a variety of loot depending on what type of chamber it is.
These dungeons and trial chambers would be difficult for most players are would be a way to promote teamplay among players.
just like any classic dungeons, you fight of a few enemies and a randomized boss to get a strong amount of loot with the difficulty scaling off the size of the dungeon.
What does this bring to AO?
A bunch actually,
This system can be implemented in so many places around AO, Mainly the dark sea and underwater.
This could be a primary way to find new and fresh vanity, armor, weapons and even spirit weapons and would be it’s own thing in AO for players to explore and conquer.
for example:
An underwater trial chamber could be a way for players to work together to win a sunken item, like a sunken sword or chest plate.
A dark sea trial chamber could have corrupted Atlantean NPCS with even greater difficulty but with much more ancient or corrupted items.
or adding up to vetex’s dragon idea, we could also have a massive trial chamber with a dragon at the end as a boss fight which could also have it’s own unique dragon like lootpool
