Introduction
Alalea, a nation bombarded by the Arcane Government is at an eternal state of war with all other nations of the seven seas. Once was a great land, but now has been dragged into a terrible place. The Empire needs to protect the people from outsiders, and so that was the first fuse for a terrible genocide that would soon consume the lives of millions of people. This was not the result of King Arsen himself, but the actions of many terrible and corrupt officials of the government, and the selfish choices of the kings and emperors that followed his line.
What will the future of the Empire behold? Can this ever be reversed? We still do not know what the future will behold. We can only tell what is happening now.
About the Empire
Alalea is a nation located on the peninsula of the mainland of the seven seas. Many cities are located here. Let’s talk about one city in particular: Fidelio. Fidelio is located in the east of the country. Many of the poor parts of Fidelio is the literal definition of a dystopia where inequalities are rife. Just look inside the various slums such as Città Speranza in Fidelio, Vertice town in Rockhollow, Mare di Rifiuti in Arsenna, and Ferraneo town in the capital New Alalea. In these shantytowns, people are forced to eat rotting food and drink sewer water to survive. That is why diseases like the Plague often start here since the extremely squalid living conditions are like heaven for bacteria, viruses, and parasites.
The majority of these people in slums like these are immigrants and refugees from poorer nations, people who moved here from the country and escaped slaves. And more about slaves, slavery is a very common practice in Alalea. It is said that at least 1 million slaves are owned by Alalean citizens. For example, the duchess of Rockhollow, Melissa de Romano-Galleon said that slavery abolitionism is Arcane Government propaganda. Fidelio in our case is one of the biggest slave-trading hubs in the seven seas. Any escaped slaves will be publically executed. Any of his or her associates may be executed or sent to the dungeons.
Most slaves are captured from the tropical Doom and Canopy Islands. Alalea has always been at war with these people because Alalea wanted the resources from these places. They were always unfriendly to the Alaleans, so we attacked. After all, the offense is the best defense out there. And from then on, they considered us as simply barbarians and outsiders, and we considered that to them too.
So We would have to treat them the way they treated us all this time. They all had to die. Their nation will no longer exist, and will continue as slave people. According to the Diplomat William Edwardo Marbella, he said this to the Arcane Government: “But to be honest, who cares about uncolonized indigenous people to every start with?” He may have gone a little too far but he spoke the words we want the world to hear.
Political Fraud and Corruption are also absolutely aloof here. The authorities of the government perform public executions, mass torture, and other methods against people. We do not want to be regulated by the terrible Authority of the Arcane Government. We want to be a nation. Sovereign, free and prosperous. But they forced us to make this happen as a reality. So we must end them before they end us.
