Introduction
Vistaria is constantly bombarded by the Arcane Government. And thus Vistaria is being in an eternal state of war with the outside world. Peace is no option for the people and nation of Vistaria anymore. This was not the result of the original King Melias himself, but the actions of many terrible and corrupt officials of the government, and the selfish choices of the kings and emperors that followed his line.
What will the future of the Empire behold? Can this ever be reversed? We still do not know what the future will behold. We can only tell what is happening now.
About the Empire
Vistaria is located on the mainland in the fourth sea. Many cities are located in this nation. Let’s talk about one place in particular: Sommerstadt. Sommerstadt witch is located in the Southwestern part of the country resembles the definition of a dystopia where inequalities are rife. Elendsviertel or slums are not an uncommon sight around Vistarian cities. Some of these include Toter Stadt in Westhall, Walddorf in Eisenport, Ostschluchts in Sommerstadt, Dunklerkluft in Karlsburg and so on. In these places, diseases are rife and there is little to no sanitation or anything similar. Diseases of Poverty like malnutrition are not uncommon here. Most disease epidemics and pandemics in the empire are coming from these slums, as they are the ideal place for viruses and other pathogens.
The majority of these people in slums like these are immigrants and refugees from poorer nations, people who moved here from the country and escaped slaves. And with some information about slaves, Slavery is a legitimate institution and form of trade in the Empire of Vistaria. Slaves are Captured from far away and very cold tundra islands in the second and third seas. People from there are rebelling against the Vistarian Alaleans, the ethnic majority of the country who are taking their people as slaves for the good of the Vistarians.
Anti-Slavery is considered “Cringe” and “Un-based” in most of the country as slave trade is one of the nation’s major sources of income and more. Plus, the slaves are usually punished for fighting against the kingdom of Vistaria and the most commonly enslaved people, the snow folk people regard the Vistarians and their civilization as “Barbarians of the fourth sea”
The Vistarians are also very notorious of “Dissapearing” people and then make them end up in a terrible situation. Such as they are in the dungeons, they got executed or they are exiled to either Alalea or Castlia. But if they get exiled, the nation that exiled them will usually exile them back to Vistaria and they will get killed on Vistarian soil.
Political Fraud and Corruption are also absolutely aloof in the empire. The authorities of the government perform public executions, mass torture, and other methods against people just like they did to many people. They do not want to be regulated by the terrible Authority of the Arcane Government. We want to be a nation. Sovereign, free and prosperous. But they forced us to make this happen as a reality. So we must end them before they end us.
