So, you guys probably know about Lord Elius being the third boss in the game, and being the first Boss who has a second phase.
I had some interesting ideas for a Discussion which were bothering me for a while…
So, you guys know that in his First Phase, Elius uses healing potions to heal himself, right?
In second phase though, he uses a pillar-explosion (likely 3 times) of TEAL Lightning (Not purple, and purple lightning is his main one) to heal himself.
So I was thinking, why in the world is it like that?
Let’s just start off simply: He has 2 color variations of the same magic, which we obviously can’t do as players as far as I remember.
Which already makes me think if Elius is not some kind of hacker, because like… Why?
And also, why is it Teal Lightning which heals? Like seriously, it would make MUCH MORE sense if this Lightning would be green. Even if there isn’t such color variation. (Well, we have Red Lightning in dark sea, so why can’t we have it as a color variant)
This thing makes me think, that Purple Lightning resembles a very destructive kind of lightning, at least because it is in the dark sea. It just deals more damage than the Teal Lightning we meet usually, and usually we can encounter it on Dawn Island.
And then Teal Lightning is like a supportive one.
This also makes me think that devs should make color variants different from each other totally: Like Purple Lightning being the most damageful and destructive one, while Teal relies on supporting the user more. Not sure about Yellow Lightning, but I always thought it’s Lightning of the gods, so probably it either would stay the same or have different stats. Idk.
What do you think about this whole Elius’ thing?
because canonically magics exist in different kinds of colors
its because of the game that we’re limited to only these few
canonically, you can customize your magic to be a different color if you try hard enough, but because roblox is shit (compared to steam or whatever, this is from a preformance standpoint, not game standpoint) its just much easier to make your character use the same color for every spell
Anyway, supposedly there was a statement from a tester or developer that the teal lightning that strikes Elius is real, physical lightning. I still don’t know how this heals him, and honestly I thought this sort of thing was impossible unless you had the Lightning Curse, but apparently that’s how it works.
Cause it’s natural. He just has so much aura it happened to strike him. (Or his lightning aura is charging the ground around him positevely, causing the lightning to happen)
While fumbling around in his sack of potions, he mistakenly drinks an electricity potion before finding the healing potion because Carina gave both of them the same label as a prank.
