Elven mastery and slavery

(I’m bored)

Context: elf’s in this case are mushrooms humanold (think Warhammer orks) that have ungodly survivability.
Losing limbs, organs, and even heads and the ability to recover from it

(Yes I know if they aren’t elves but I’m using it’s as a outline)

Btw Dwarfs are semi-mechanical animals (furrys) and yes they hate the elves

Elves like other “unaged” races don’t measure their seniority by time like short-lived races like the Ronpee (temp name). However their use of mastery and scaring is unique compared to the much more common number of sons or hoard size.

While the time needed to gain the skill to count as a mastery is very similar to most short-lived races. The next stage of ingraining the skills to memorialize it takes much more time.

it’s due to this that it is very rare for a mastery to be forgotten. However should a mastery be forgotten they in a sense de age it’s seen similar to be mentally ill. Most common mastery’s to be forgotten is limb use, sights, hearing, and speech

Gaining mastery starts right as they born begining with the mastery of limb use and speech they only seen as babies or children till they have mastered both.

The due to this focus on mastery their Justice does not have a death penalty. Instead criminals be forced to master being a servant never to be able to lead or refuse orders.

so what happens if I bring a match

What?

how vulnerable is an elf to fire

They dislike fire the same way we dislike acid it’s very dangerous but also very useful, for everyday life and war

"It’s a common mistake that elves need to drink water, however reason for their water skins is for not to drink but for fires. Due to their fungus like biologically should they catch on fire it’s near impossible to effectively put them self out.

The warpaint that many elf solders use are infact a powder mix used to protect them self from fire."

For this reason forging is seen as a very risk mastery even higher to being a soldier

Fire is one the primary way to kill off a elves without their mega survivability kicking in

Nuh uh

how are these the most common masteries to forget?

Children and young “adults” (est year cycle age 0-30)
Losing their limbs before they are able to truly ingrained the mastery isn’t unheard of.
(Most common)

Loss of their head while it won’t kill them they do lose their senses. While usually elves would try and ingrain the mastery of their senses. However because factors like: time taken, rarity, and complexity. Ingraining the mastery of any of the senses is rare even for the oldest of elves.

Due to both long lived nature of elves and general isolation of many of their communities. It’s known that some elves that leave return to find their community with using a new language
