Maslenitsa, or: basically a celebration of the end of winter, we do stuff like make an effigy, eat some things that are kinda like pancakes but no, and at the end of it we burn the effigy and do stuff like use the remains to fertilize the ground (no it doesnt work, the wikipedia article literally uses quotation marks when they said “fertilize”) n stuff

are words that mean something culture related (example: a specific culture’s clothes) allowed to be an epithet (they cant really exist in the EE world)? i dont think so and i wont allow it in the word list

in epithet erased, the rules for an epithet are:

  • the epithet may not have someone else living who already owns that word as their epithet

  • derivatives, such as: burn, burning, burned, etc. count as the same word

  • words from any language are allowed

  • an epithet may only be one word unless it describes a very specific concept that cannot be expressed in one word, such as ice cream (though in another language it IS one word so haha)

  • slang may be an epithet if enough people use it, such as perhaps a city or like a province ig. Your friend group saying a specific word is not enough thought

  • stuff like company names are not capable of being epithets. Your epithet cannot be Wallmart

  • the above is circumvented if the word is used so often it gains a new meaning outside of just a brand name, such as how in our world, the company Google doesn’t want us to say “googled it” because it’s been used so much that the word is starting to enter our language as something outside of the company, and therefore would mean that other companies can use google in even their names, as it’s an actual word then, which would mean that Google loses their copyright

there’s nothing against culture related words, and in the lore basically every single human started speaking the same language, which gave the power of epithets to humans. The world itself is basically our world but now the country lines are different, and there’s only like 6 countries

assuming that the epithet is adrenaline, this feels a little bit like you’re going towards nova territory

that’s a little too overpowered imo

basically, Epithet Erased is an adaptation of JelloApocalypse’s “Anime Campaign” thing he did with his friends, where people have superpowers based around one core word

in AC, proficiency was how you unlocked new abilities n stuff, and you increased your class to 2 or 3 when you pass 60 and 100 proficiency respectively

in Epithet Erased, proficiency is a stat that goes up to 15, and is how good you are at using your epithet or other such things, with every 5 proficiency being another tier of proficiency, going from star, to orbit, to nova. This applies to stamina and creativity as well, all three stats are independent to a degree of one another and can all be separate classes

Stamina is basically how good you are at not getting knocked out, and creativity is how creative you are

in universe, most epithet users are star class, less than 4% are in orbit if I remember right, and very few people ever reach nova class

basically the graphic they use in the show for the three stats look like stars at tier one, a star in a circle for tier two, and a star but cooler for tier three
