Okay so obviously a lot of what is actually going to be in the update has already been stated, but I do want to hear if you guys have expectations for the features already mentioned and/or any features that weren’t mentioned or haven’t been set as part of the update but you expect, or really want, to be in the update.
Here’s what I’m expecting:
- Improvements to old islands. Nothing crazy just additional minor detail to sharpen their edges.
- Extremely minor changes to the early story. Nothing that would change the narrative, but just some dialogue changes to improve some parts of the bronze sea story. Like much earlier mentions of the Ravenna generals and Calvus, exposition on curses put somewhere else, and/or some directions to Rill Hendrix mentioned directly through dialogue.
- 2 new fs
- guide book
- Vitality classes developed to somewhere around the same point as the other classes
- At least 2 vitality bosses to give vitality classes a full loadout of spirit weapons
- Enemy towers
- Guard towers
- Mostly if not fully finished bronze sea with all planned bosses, mini-bosses, and islands implemented. This seems to be the plan with full release trying to get all the planned features out of the way so the future can be focused on after this.
- 2 new story chapters
- Balance changes as per the usual
- New spells, weapons, techniques, and spirit weapons
- At least one of the Nimbus sea minibosses
- Maybe a new strength weapon?
- Ghost ships
- Legendary ships
- your mom ships
- Glider. Super excited for this one, will make traversal when exploring so much better.
- Ability skill tree. If you’ve heard about this one it seems like some cool universal abilities will be added that’ll be fun to use.
- Sensing
- Island specific weapons. Armorers might finally have a purpose
- New quartermaster
Things I think could possibly come in Full Release
- Nimbus sea side boss. 100% chance this is Mizeria, but I’m not sure if she would make the cut for the full release update. Especially since she will probably have a bit of a quest to her as well.
- Professions
- Hybrid spells and techniques. This one might never be a thing, but I feel this is something all non weapon hybrids really need. Imbues are really cool, but if unique content for these classes end at first awakening that’d be really lame. If these were to be added full release would be a really good update for them to be added in.
- Maybe arcanium weapon(s)? If arcanium weapons do show up in Nimbus, Skyhall is where I’d expect them to be most.
Things I’m pretty certain won’t be in Full Release
- 2nd awakening. Pretty obvious, 50 levels after 1st is way too early, and the story is only reaching the middle of the rising action for Nimbus when this update releases
- Major dark sea stuff. This ones pretty obvious too. Too huge to be added with all the other stuff.
Final thoughts/questions
I think everything in my expectations list could be reasonably added by full release, except for the your mom boats cause those are way too big. Is there anything y’all think I left out? Anything I added you think I shouldn’t have? Thoughts on the possible and not possible lists?
