Most cannonballs are just balls of metal, they weren’t really explosive unless…you know…they were specifically made for them to explode

Cannon balls irl aren’t explosive at all. It’s just a chunk of metal being shot at 400 MPH.

Explosive cannon balls do exist though in AO so /shrug
