I wouldn’t say better, ice can be very good if you can make it synergize well with another magic. Earth on the other can be very good as conjurer or size mage; overall they have different playstyles.

back in the olden days (total game revamp) i ran lightning ice mage
that file still exists, and the best part is that it’s an oracle, so it can be garbage once more
Crystal Magic is just better
about half of all my files use ice magic i think
I plan to use ice as my third magic on my alternate mage file.
Must quickly check which variant I was using, because I’m not on that file often xD
