Honestly it doesn’t bother me, it doesn’t even have to be good just like half-okay and I won’t judge you at all, but the weird thing is this fella the first time around offered boss drops (I think) for 1 headless and after I declined he decided to go all three for an exotic fish and crowns :skull:

He probably only sent you some boss drops for normal halloween seasonals trade or smth, you probably weren’t in the server long enough for him to send bad trades for headless

I sometimes try and lowball people with headless if I can ever find them (I just try and offer my sc and see if they accept) but nobody has accepyed yet obviously, I’m not lucky enough to score a person who doesn’t know it’s value or just wants stats over vanity

I don’t recommend just sending out random lowball trades to people with a headless, what I like to do is gather info first, stuff like

  • Is the headless originally theirs
  • Do they have sunkens or not and if they’re owned by them or others
  • Do they have one or more
  • How many hours and trades accepted/completed stat
  • Generally see if they have a big inventory or not
  • See if they’re in a specific guild which looks for certain items

And all of these affect what I’ll do or what trade I’ll send, ex: if the headless is theirs they will probably be reluctant to trade it so probably try to add items that’ll sweeten the deal, if they have a large sum of sunkens not owned originally by them, they probably know what they’re doing so just send an actual decent offer but slightly less than what goes on the forum, same thing applies to if they have more than one, more hours and trades = more likely to know what they’re doing = probably add certain items to sweeten the deal.

Obviously this sounds like a lot, but not practically, you can basically scan a player of all these things in less than 3 minutes and it’s not always necessary to do so, also I like to message them first and ask if they’re willing to trade/if I can offer for it or if they’re looking for any specific items that I can add to the trade, though a lot of the time these players will have messages off, which in that case I just have a whack at it and send a random trade, dunno if other traders do this, but hey that’s just my preference :woman_shrugging:

I do what u do but instead i j look at their inv if they have all seasonals but no headless i ask if they gave one for trade and if they have one in their inv i offer a ss then ask if its for trade

Depends on what I said earlier and what items I currently have, but rn I’m either trading the hard sc with some like boss drops or just a bunch of my sunken armours, though haven’t really run into anyone who actually knows what they’re doin recently so haven’t needed to offer anything actually that great :woman_shrugging:

all the people I’m running into are either really picky on items I don’t have much of or are not willing to trade it

I actually did take some of those into account. Most were reluctant to trade/only had 1 though

if powerful sc ain’t enticing enough i might as well just try and do clean ss for it since it’s rarer and stuff + i didn’t earn it

I just ask headless people what they want for their headless
If they try to say its not for sale i tell them ill trade cool item
