As we all know, WoM is pretty heavy on your FPS. I have an average gaming pc, the specs aren’t the best but it’s not hot garbage either. I usually get 70-150 FPS on games depending on how heavy or well optimized they are. Today ladies and gentlemen, I am going to post my experience with shaders on WoM.
I expect my GPU to be at least 80 degrees Celsius from this shit
For some reason, my shaders wouldn’t pick up at all on my screenshots. I’ll try my best to describe them to you though: absolute shit
My GPU was overheating (CPU was chillin’ at 60C) and everything looked pretty bad
However, I can’t bash Vetex for this. This game was never meant to run any of these shaders.
I’ll try my best to update this post with better screenshots, and hell I might even just make videos of my experience instead.
yes i am aware these look like plain WoM screenshots. i know that and im trying to update them with the shader versions
I used 2 brain cells and managed to steal some guy’s tutorial and make roblox run on GPU. A little bit more FPS was obtained from what I did.
I do not remember the steps i did at all but i do know that you need windows 10 for it
You should get the shift+F5 menu in the screenies, as well. Gives the FPS numbers and utilisation for everything.
If you’re using Roblox’s built in screenshot, it might be hiding the shaders. Try to use some other way to get them, like snipping tool the entire screen, or gyazo but idk about it because I never used it.
On a related note, I messed with some graphics options for Roblox, too. I went into Nvidia control center (I think, at least) and put on 16x anisotropic filtering and antialiasing.
WoM was trippy, mainly the chat and other text, but I don’t remember much of a performance difference, probably because Roblox wouldn’t use more than 40% of my GPU anyways.
