Fall damage isnt needed nor wanted, remove it and limit your view of realism on this game because it just seems to damage it more than help it, ty.
I mean considering vetex is adding gliders, fall damage sounds very possible. And the comedy of just logging in and someone falling to their deaths right next to you will never not be funny.
will using moves like devestate and slam cancel fall damage?

ultimately i think i can somewhat deal with it, 3x leap height is fairly tall and if damage at that height is barely noticeable then it shouldnt be a major problem but the issue comes with being punished for using skills that take advantage of height (smash and devastate) + dark seas islands being tall as balls, though climbing gear can alleviate that issue (maybe);
so it just comes down to the said skills in which i think having something like the same damage reduction being knocked back into the air has should be included for it
well, energy system was posted on the channel and it got so much backlash (rightfully) that it had to be tweaked.
the problem is fall damage is sort of being gatekept to most of the community so a lot of people dont know about it.
if a fall damage vid was posted to the channel there would (rightfully) be a ton of people complaining about it and thus, a higher chance to be revised
I was going to be fine with fall damage if it made wind mage actually funnier but after seeing that I personally don’t think it would be a wise decision. I usually agree with Vetex on most things however a lot of islands just aren’t sculpted to the idea of fall damage. Although personally I do think the idea of having to hike and be careful of your surroundings for more mountainous regions sounds super cool in my own opinion, I’d love the idea of hiking with major risks like death.

Moreso the case that the energy system hadn’t been fully balanced/tweaked by Vetex before the showcase, then was finished after the showcase was already posted. (Though the public reception may be why the tweaks came sooner rather than later though)
