(im gonna tie this to fall dmg) fall dmg is something new, a pointless addition with no reason other than to just be there, name changes were just even more pointless, people like it, people were used of it and there was nothing wrong with them, the change was dumb, ironically vetex also said people were crying over text on a gui yet his reason to change them was bc he didnt like it
also rlly, strong warrior? sure they might had been place holders despite he not giving us any info but rlly, ur first though was strong warrior or fighting mage, that was the negative reaction and sure there were people that went overboard but yet vetex still decided to act childish and treat us as idiots which didnât help, instead tech needed to come and babysit him and to save any reputation that vetex had, literally from all the messages vetex sent, tech just did what he failed in 3 messages
also the pool, easily inclined to make u to vote what vetex wanted bc it didnât say âi dont want these namesâ but âi dont want any name change at allâ and most people voted that they are fine with name changes and guess what, warden got renamed to oracle and there was no drama, showing that the names he chose were the problem
same here, if vetex just decided to give us all the info rather as little as possible and to clarify stuff and stop having a huge ego and acting as the community knows nothing at all, he might realize that he is the problem or atleast the one that starts the problem
I had mixed feeling about this. But I can adapt to it. The ground parry thing is still pretty funny to me, like it implies we consciously use magic energy to avoid collision.
Yeah from how fall dmg seems to work it seems to much as a whatever feature to hate. Now depending how it effects the dark seas can change that but thatâs a we see when we get there
dont quote me on this but im pretty sure the way how casting spells currently works wont work in full release, iirc there was a patch note that basically reduced air time by a LOT
yes the idea of parrying fall damage is fun since it makes you feel like a god but could he like at least address a little bit how he expects people to deal with it in dark sea and places where you canât reasonably parry? that would help a lot of people stop complaining

oh yeah i canât find it but i remember vetex having to explain to someone that fall damage not being a thing is to convenience gameplay since they thought it didnât exist in lore
i canât wait to see the lore reason that fall dmg exist in a cutscene where someone falls down to their death (or maybe that fight that created the dark sea also created gravity)
maybe since combat inlore is more grounded, maybe we can get that pvp rework bc lore
