mm yeah, im just thinking it’s concerning that players can quite easily fake name/leaderboard shenanigans. i suppose in a similar vein to this post, wouldn’t it be really, really easy to frame someone this way?
yba community had a similar issue with framing to the point they shut down exploiter reports for months
Exploiters rarely got banned because you had to do it EXACTLY to their form. One minor difference and your report would be disregarded

tbf kinda ballsy to just assume that he can edit videos
it can be, but the way to easily distinguish it is to repeatedly hover their stats back and forth with the stats of another player
the cheater’s stats will adopt the stats of the previous player you looked at
their hidden usernames are a give away too

that’s actually super interesting, but doesn’t seem like something you can do to determine who the cheater is, only that there is one
yeah seems like you’d have to actually kill/get killed by them to see who it is
This reminds me of the time I got banned because I “scammed” somebody in a different game when they sent me a trade without reading what they were actually trading for.
If somebody randomly sends me a trade that gives me tons of high value items essentially for free, I’m not going to say no.
If they misclicked or didn’t read item descriptions, that’s their fault.

The icon for the item they traded for was the same icon for a much much higher value item.
(do keep in mind that the items they were offering me were absolute garbage in comparison to what they thought they were getting from me)
However, the item description and name is right there.
An exploit like this is not a hard one to create, but also the fact that it can often be universal. Cheating in general like this is just for 9 year olds who suck at the game.
(These exploits have been around for a very long time and rarely get patched)

Like there is no fucking way you got banned again, I mean resetting yourself using keybinds??? I am starting to doubt some of these mods if one of them thinks CRTL+R+ENTER is a exploit.
