Step 1: early humans start ingesting magical particles out of newly found magical herbs/plants
Step 2: the amount of magical energy in certain humans is nearly at the level for will magic to be learnt, and then someone accidentally used will magic (really weak, it is where you will something simple into existence and magic does it) (like “create fire”)
Step 3: these early-mid humans experimented on it and found out if they used words to describe it out loud, the will connection was stronger while using the same effort. and so they start doing this.
Step 4: at this point, they started experimenting on what types of things they could do with magic, since only fire magic at this point was known, and they soon found water magic, light magic, earth magic, and wind magic.
Step 5: now these mid humans realised they could infuse their magic, or what they now called “mana” into items to enchant them, and so the first enchanters came to be
Step 6: with enchanted gear, people found out that there were different way to infuse magic, which had similar effects to the wearer than the type of magic they tried to infuse. from light magic came agility, from earth magic came defense, from water magic came energy regenation, and from wind came attack speed.
Step 7: now towards the end of the middle age, the humans started to be able to infuse mana directly into the armour and weapons, this caused the power stat to exist. will continue this at a further date,
