Hi I’m broke and I was wondering what the MOST effective way to get a crap ton of galleons really quickly is
My newest file is basically dirt poor and I don’t have a brig yet, my only valuable item is a sunken chestplate I own
How can I begin the process of actually making progress in AO and what systems do I need to learn how to use and what systems should I ignore to be more optimized
Sell me your soul and I’ll give you 20k galleons.
Cargo on a Caravel/Ketch between bronze and nimbus sea, it’ll be better in Full Release with optional pvp.
Focus on speed, pick up speed crew, don’t bother with cannons (more cargo space). Each run between Ravenna and Sameria is 70 galleons worth of profit per cargo. I suggest being neutral since I don’t think you’ll have your location exposed on bounty boards. Even if you have low bounty, I personally didn’t really trust being around other high level players. Especially since, if they have a brig, they can 1 shot you and you’ll lose all your cargo if they wanna be evil that day.
I don’t think it matters since across sea is a fixed profit of 70, or 120 total. I say profit, meaning I’m subtracting the cost of the cargo itself from the total sold. So you make +70 Galleons per cargo, regardless of where the cargo comes from as long as it’s from a different sea.
Imo jsut grindr bronze sea chests from ships, since they give an alright amount of galleons and you can actually sell the random shit from the chests (i.e iron armours, etc) for quite a lot.
Grind dark sea, sell a lot of the eye-catching stuff on market (Atl Essence, Powerful and Armoured Scrolls, Dark Sea ship parts, tartarus tears, etc etc). I have made millions from it
If you need a free way this is a bit tedious but literally infinite money and jewel crafting skill
Buy out gem merchant, all the sunstone and onyx.
Buy respective amount of bones from marketplace or just fish for them
Craft the gems into jewels
Sell for profit
It works annoyingly well, for profit you’d need bones to be <12 galleons per, but they’re being sold for like 5 rn
At least with perfect this is the case, I’m not sure about imperfect crafting
