Favorite Non-Roblox RPG/RPG Series?

This can include things that aren’t traditional JRPGs, so even action RPGs or strategy RPGs are applicable.

Series? Well the only RPG I could think of was archeage, but that was a MMORPG

In my case, my favorite probably has to be either Earthbound or Persona 3, for wildly different reasons.

Earthbound:
The writing in this game is just outstanding. Almost every NPC you speak to has something funny to say, and it’s the kind of game that even after ten, twenty or even fifty playthroughs there’s still something new to find. It doesn’t slouch in the gameplay department either, having lots of unique battle mechanics such as scrolling health and instantly beating battles beneath your level. Still tear up a little at the ending even after all this time. Oops.

Persona 3:
P3 contains probably my favorite main story and characters in any JRPG, just flat out. I can’t even really think of a strong 2nd place candidate. It’s hard to explain why without big spoilers but w/e. I also just generally love SMT fusion mechanics in general, which is still in full force in this game. Also tear up at the ending still. Oops.

the older pokemon games, mystery dungeons, pokepark, the digimon games and uh… MHstories.

yes i like to abuse fictional animals, what of it. :facepunch:

I’ve only played about 3 RPGs. Rune Factory, Toram and AQ Worlds.

The Rune Factory series are my favourite, I’ve played both 3 and 4 but I didn’t really complete the 4th one. I’ve also played Tides of Destiny from Wii but I also didn’t have the chance to complete it.

I only enjoyed playing Toram since my girlfriend played it too, and it was pretty weeby so that made me stick to it for a while. But as time passed, including the lack of PvP, it just got boring overtime.

I’m pretty sure everyone in this community has heard of Adventure Quest if not played it before. It’s a pretty fun game back then but got boring real quick.

a MMORPG called Guild wars 2, it was soo intense, you can choose between 4 races, human, charr, norn, sylvari and asura, at first you start with nothing in full war, the only history that i liked was the history of the charrs because they were really agressive in each mission, i don’t want to explain everything because is a lot, i will only mention the mode that is called Skirmish war where a player can become commander and command like 100+ players :poggers2: or more, where you need to capture Fortress or Towers, the battle that i liked the most were in a Fortress where 150+ players enemies were destroying the walls

A fairly old game my dad played and that was Breath of Fire 3 and 4
