Ravenbeak from Metroid Dread. From the very beginning, heā€™s been a huge threat, and even after Samus has gotten what she believes is her strongest, he still mocks her and comes extremely close to killing her. He is only defeated because Samus fully transforms into a Metroid and sucks the life force out of him.

A close runner up is Jubileus from Bayonetta. The set piece of the fight is one of the greatest in video game history, as you slowly tear down a literal god, then punch her soul across the solar system into the sun.

For a couple of my favorite bosses:

  • PV from Hollow Knight
  • Armstrong from MGRR
  • Radahn from Elden Ring
  • Spamton Neo from Deltarune

thereā€™s probably some boss Iā€™m forgetting that I love above all of these but my absolute favorite is definitely NKG from Hollow Knight, the fight is just so smooth and so fun and the theme is amazing. Iā€™m at the point where Iā€™ve fought him so much I can almost radiant it, and I havenā€™t really done that for any of the other ā€œlategame-endgameā€ bosses (think like, pv or traitor lord or hornet sentinel or something Iā€™m not sure, the bosses with complicated move sets you donā€™t really fight until your about to beat the game or have beaten it).
