Feeling evil today

during all these years ive always been told that if you use too much attack size, it will be easier to play
but the drawback is your aim will get worse and youll be bad at pvp
Now I do want to be good at pvp
But why does it matter that my aim gets worse if i just NEVER stop using size?
and doesn’t attack speed suck right now? I mean ive tried it on Light Magic yesterday and the speed increase is barely any with 180
gonna hop on that 200 size 100 power build, let me know your thoughts and see if any of yall are gonna do the same

I wonder how this’ll perform…

Nevermind, what a shame, you could run this with Earth or something if you’re feeling devious.

i couldn’t care about the lack of defense and the 5 drawback, what bothers me is how you put more than 0 ap

my wind cannon deals 130 per tick without power. since wind cannon has kb and pulls the enemy in, it ends up dealing 520

190 AP is:
1.25x damage to NPCs
At current max level the base HP is 1314
+0.0095x per 100 defense

So 1000 defense is → 1.095x
And 2000 defense is → 1.19x

So basically kinda mid for players or maybe I did the calcs wrong.

Anyways, effectively (if correct for players), that means every 100 defense is:
135 + 19 (base) + 140 (level) = 294 power
NPC: 294 x 1.25 = 367.5
Player (per 100 defense) ~= +2.8 power

So for 1000 defense (which is way more reasonable than 2000, that makes it ~= to +28 power

wind anything with size is devious because it’s already pretty fast

Knockback jewels or you’re banned

Is attack speed really that bad?

If you chose the cold variant then you could call your Wind Cannon spell Lapse Blue in your head.

I like attack size because it makes stuff look cooler so thats why I run it

speed

chose cold wind :fire:

because you’ll do better with no size and good aim

not rly it’s in an alright spot rn i’d say

imagine being a 300 ap user then encountering a 0 defense glass cannon :sob:

Using size is alright and all,but just don’t fall into the 200+ size pitfall. You will never win against a decent player unless your build is simply that good (a 200 size, 100~ agility magma mage can stand equal to or even defeat experienced players due to amount of magma particles each explosive attack releases), and even then, you’ll be reduced to a sentient boss fight. People will eventually adapt to your predictable tactics and you’ll only be able to change fighting styles with every new update/meta.

That’s not to say running attack size is bad. It’s fun, I won’t lie- it’s probably the most appealing stat in the entire game when it comes to sheer enjoyment. But there comes a point where you’ve stopped using your brain to land hits and have started to press buttons in hopes that your enemy will be defeated before they can punish you.

I guess that it doesn’t matter, though. Soon enough, every PVP interaction will probably play out similarly to what I just described. It’s only a matter of time before aiming becomes more of a party trick than an actual skill.

So I guess I might be being a bit hypocritical. In the end, it’s up to you how you want to play the game. There is no right or wrong way to enjoy the PVP.
