I guess yeah, but if Vetex really wanted to give us one (and we already know that he won’t due to gameplay reasons), he would find million ways to do so, its unlikely that this one fact about wood curse would stop him.
It would be really cool if we had to break into the fenrir and get a fort talos situation but with multiple levels

if he wants his story to make sense then he wouldnt do that. This one fact about the wood curse is afterall the only reason why keraxe’s navy is the strongest
probably the fenrir tbh, but with these images and proper images from aa/ar we could make a good comparison

I believe Maria’s ship is only about twice the size of a brig, the fenrir is about 10x the size of a brig if not more

sadly i dont think theres any good spot to compare maria’s scaled up brig to a normal brig but like tecdroogan said its probably around 2x bigger so not nearly as big as a fenrir
Heres a borealis pic btw, the fenrir def looks bigger but this isnt the greatest comparison pic. If anyone has a better pic then feel free to share it
edit: maybe someone can make a pic of a caravel/ketch next to the borealis and a pic of a caravel/ketch next to the fenrir. Pretty sure those ships are the same size in ar as in ao or at least roughly similar
Borealis is 1000% more larger, especially since after Arthur and the One Shot Pirates raided it (more like sieged as its told) they were literally able to fund the construction of all of Alalea. + The Borealis is stated to be the largest ship ever in the books of AA

Regardless of it was bigger or smaller, it definitely had more gold on board

Still, if you need to siege a ship to board it, you really have to ask yourself if you’re fighting a boat, or a mobile artificial island
That’s gonna be the coolest boss fight arena once we actually board it.

A fenrir is also stated to basically be a mobile artificial island. Anyways in lore it would make sense if the borealis is actually the biggest ship ever made but in game it looks like the fenrir is bigger
